For a Friend

My heart aches for anyone who is fighting threw cancer treatments.  I made this especially for one of my friends who is.  I tried to incorporate her wonderful art in the quilting.  Marianne this is for you.  Hope this quilt provides you some comfort.  Stay Strong.

Deadline Before Vacation

I leave for Florida in two weeks then a pit stop at home then I'm off to DC to help my DD for my DGS's arrival so I had to complete my UFO's.  Yeah I did it but I would venture to say that I am going to start another project.  Two weeks with no sewing is just blashphemy.

I know it is very hard to see the photos so here they are

I printed them on Fabric Sheets then appliqued them onto the triangles then appliqued them onto the jelly roll quilt top. After I finished quilting I appliqued the rick rack.
