Homesteading Continued......

Had to go to the property to meet the septic man (county is forcing us to have septic, we wanted to do composting, to save water and to nurture our soil).  Septic man got ill and was so apologetic have to meet up with him again at another time.  Trip up was successful as we got the trail up to the ridge cleared and cleaned up the Outdoor Kitchen area.

Let the Homesteading Begin

The time is coming near.  All is packed and ready to go.  Tiny Home, Shop Cabin & Sewing Cabin built and on the way.  Land cleared and ready for them to be delivered.  I'm so excited to begin our new life off the grid.  Homesteading here we come.

Tiny Home will sit on this pad just like this.  So our back yard view

This will go on the pad like this.  So our kitchen living room view

Sewing Cabin (it will have a red roof) on this pad

Haven't had time to create but did manage to get my grandson Theo's birthday socks done.

Moving Time

Its almost time to move to our tiny home.  Getting the pad ready for the house and sheds.  Clearing by hand is hard work, but Rosie enjoys dirt biking all over it.

Projects I completed.

April Showers

Weather has been crazy.  Even after a mild winter here in Utah, Spring is giving us a run for it. Today started off nice and in the 70's but by this afternoon wind gusts up to 70 mph and possible snow.  Nuts.

Here are some of my new creations even though I've been ill most of the time.

Made my Kitchen Aid a Dust Cover

Made my youngest dance slippers they have leather on the balls and heals.

Finding the joy in everything

Some days are just harder than others to get motivated. Even getting out of bed is a battle and I know I'm not the only one.

Finding the joy in everything is a hard mindset to get around.  Especially when you suffer from depression.

Yes I enjoy my Family & Friends. Yes I enjoy my two German Shepherds. Yes I enjoy all the needle art creations I make.  Yes I enjoy my Essential Oils. Yes I enjoy the beauty of Utah.  Yes I enjoy writing a blog or in my journal.

But yet some days are just so bad that getting to the next hour is a struggle. I guess there is only so much the joys above & medications can do before the mind gripping depression blocks the joy from entering into your brain.

Its hard being defective. I guess on some days you just have to find the joy that being defective is okay.

Here are some of the joys in my life.  Thank you to all that help me find those joys.
