Got burnt out with my crafting. Took a two year break. Back to it now. Got inspired by my daughter who is pregnant with my grandson. She doesn’t want his name out yet that’s why it’s blocked out on his quilt below.

Currently I’m working on a Foundation Paper Piecing project by Lori Holt.  She has many of these pads. The one I’m working on is called the Woven Star. The pads come with 42 pieces of FPP. I got mine from Fat Quarter Shop. They also come in different block sizes. I have the 4” finished block. 

I also have a block of the month project that I’m participating in. It’s called Strawberry Garden by Fig Tree. I’m quilting with a group from my favorite local shop. The Quilter’s Lodge in Historic Draper, Utah. 

Finally I have a monthly subscription with Fat Quarter Shop called the Sew Sampler Box. I so (no pun intended.  Well I guess it’s a really good pun) anticipate this monthly box. It contains so many goodies. Fabric, Notions, Patterns etc.  It also contains a block of the month that comes on cards. I’m making this one also. It’s called Peaceful Baskets. 

I’ll post pictures of these once I have made progress on them.
